About Heller
Since 1971, Heller has reimagined what furniture could be. The brand embraces plastic—a material often overlooked in high design—to create bold, functional, and timeless pieces that belong in museums and everyday life alike.
It all began when founder Alan Heller encountered Massimo Vignelli's stackable plastic dishes. Struck by their elegant simplicity, he partnered with the legendary designer to launch Hellerware—colorful, functional dinnerware that earned a permanent place in MoMA's design collection and established Heller as a manufacturer focused on good design.
